We come across many stories everyday and while picking our favorite, we always look for something that sets them apart from the usual. What set Nitika and Rishabh apart is the loud and fun ‘punjabi’ factor. When we spoke to newly wed Nitika, she did not shy away from calling Rishabh a thet punjabi who surprised her with a bhangra step right before their jaimala, and we couldn’t help ourselves from admiring her raw and real personality.

Nitika reminisces about meeting Rishabh for a short while before leaving for a vacation to California. While Rishabh knew the direction of his love story, Nitika talks about being completely clueless but picking on small hints. Rishabh would call her to ask recipes of chutneys and random dishes and Nitika knew very well that he had no interest in cooking and one day he happened to pour his heart out, that too over a phone call.
Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of trust and a whole lot of love to know that you’ve met the one! Nitika placed her faith on Rishabh and destiny took her to his state, Texas, for a new job opportunity and that was it. The rest is history!
Nitika takes a lot of pride in her Punjabi background and giggles while telling us how guests asked them if they were attending someone else’s wedding because they danced and enjoyed so much!
