National Statistics Committee briefs on automation of registration of temporary census personnel

AKIPRESS.COM - The population census will be held in e-format. The automation of registration of temporary census personnel is planned to be innovated in 2020, according to the press conference of National Statistic Committee, which took place on Feb 11.

The Statistics Committee developed an automated information system “Registration of census taker”, which will contain personal data of each census taker with his consent, then employee will receive identity document.

The identity document will have unique QR code in order to verify the authenticity of the employee. If surveyed citizens want to make sure of census taker, they can scan a QR code. A link to the National Statistics Committee server will appear on the phone’s screen with the information about the census taker, said the committee.

The population census in Kyrgyzstan will be held from March 23 to April 1.
