The camera is equipped with ON Semi’s near-infrared enhanced sensor AR0522, which is designed for both low light and high dynamic range performance. The combination of small size, light weight, low power consumption, and NIR sensitivity makes the unit suitable for surveillance and security applications. Features include ALVIUM Technology for on-board image processing; a USB3 Vision interface for GenICam SFNC features; a platform concept that enables the use of different camera models with common software; a Micro-B USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector with screw locks for industrial applications; a precise sensor-to-lens mount alignment; standard M3 mounting holes for top and bottom mounting; standard M2 mounting holes for front mounting; and industrial performance for both embedded and machine vision applications. Cameras are available as bare board, open housing, or closed housing, with achoice of S-Mount, CS-Mount, or C-Mount. The USB connector can be positioned on the back panel or the left side of the camera (seen from the sensor side).
