Tell us why Oman is a good option for an Indian destination wedding, and what sets it apart from other places?

“The Sultanate of Oman is one of the choicest picks for Indians and NRIs to host their nuptials. Having the best of both worlds, and with breathtaking coastlines alongside majestic mountain ranges gives Oman the edge in the Gulf region, making it a trending destination wedding location. Its unparalleled landscapes make for striking backdrops at numerous wedding friendly hotels. Oman also has close links with Indian culture from decades ago, and the impeccable connectivity from Indian and European destinations makes it easy to find a vendor or fly down a vendor that best suits your needs.”

What is your favorite location in Oman for weddings, and why?

“Two venues do lovely destination weddings in Muscat, Oman. The first one is Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, and the second one is the Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa has an inventory of close to 650 Rooms amongst its three hotels that share a common beach. Turtle Beach is one of the most breathtaking places for a beach wedding. This hotel has a very calm and relaxed feel. Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel, on the other hand, has an inventory of 250 Rooms that includes the most exquisite suites in its inventory. This hotel is a perfect destination for a couple that is looking for a buyout wedding over three nights and four days and desire a royal Middle Eastern vibe. They have a lovely coastline to host wedding events, and the infinity pool area is an ideal venue for the pheras ceremony. Additionally, we also handle weddings at the W Muscat and Chedi Muscat.”

Having handled numerous weddings, which one has been your favorite, and why?

“It would be hard to state a favorite one. I have always enjoyed incorporating every couple’s personality into their wedding. We have managed intimate weddings as well as lavish ones, and they all have their own charm.”

Pick one hotel each for a wedding with the following locations:

a. Amidst spectacular mountains: Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort

b. On the pristine coastline: Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa

c. Around dramatic deserts: Desert Nights Camp and Dunes by Al Nahda

With so many options, what should an Indian couple keep in mind before picking a wedding venue in Oman?

“I choose the location based on the question – ‘What’s their vibe’. I have often assisted couples in choosing their dream location, and have seen that they are typically well prepared and instantly know their choice and can quickly shortlist a venue during a recce.”

With the wedding industry being extremely competitive, what sets you apart from your peers?

“Where Oman is concerned, we handle most of the destination weddings coming into the country. We have the know-how of the industry here, and that allows us to share our expertise with couples that pick Oman as a destination for their functions or wedding. One thing we can guarantee is that we will make your experience of planning a wedding in Oman comfortable and stress-free.”

What aspects do you look forward to when planning a wedding?

“We handle planning and decor for most of the weddings we do. Once we interact with the family and couple, we outline our scope of work based on their interests and requirements.”
