Techno India University is bringing the famous humanoid robot Sophia to Kolkata for an interactive session. The event will take place on February 18 at Nazrul Mancha. Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed by a Hong Kong based company and extremely intelligent. Besides, she is able to display more than 60 facial expressions.
In the event, Sophia will deliver a short speech and following that she will answer questions by the students. A number of city schools have been approached to send their senior students to the event. Sophia is coming to India for the second time, and first time in Eastern India. “There will be a special medical panel made of a number of noted doctors in the city, who will ask medical related question to Sophia,” said the University spokesperson.
