BLAST Signs Media Deal With BBC for iPlayer Broadcast – The Esports Observer|home of essential esports business news and insights

Tournament organizer BLAST announced a partnership Thursday with the BBC to air its final three Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments of the 2020 season on the broadcast network’s digital platform, BBC iPlayer. The platform will run over 120 hours of CS:GO across the Fall Showdown, Fall Final, and Global Final competitions.

In recent weeks, BLAST has secured several partnerships ahead of its final run of events this year. Chewing gum brand Stimorol signed on for the Fall Final, as did Nubia Technology. The organizer also has partnerships in place with Betway, EPOS, and Internet Chat Relay (IRC) network Rizon.
