Dota 2: DuBu is out of Geek Fam

Following their third-place finish at the Minor, Geek Fam has some bad news.

Geek Fam went through a massive roster change after TI 9. As a result, they became one of the strongest teams in the region.

Despite the fact that they couldn’t qualify for the Leipzig Major, they still grabbed a slot for the Bukovel Minor. In fact, many people considered them to be one of the favorites there. While they did play very nicely, they finished third, missing out on the slot for the Major.

After failing to get to the Major, Geek Fam announced that they will part ways with Kim “DuBu” Doo-young.  Even though the talented player only spent a couple of months on this roster, he played a vital part in the teams’ success.

We don’t know who will fill in the gap left by DuBu yet. There are a couple of players who might do the job but anything we say at this point will be pure speculation.

Here’s what Geek Fam’s current roster looks like:

  • Marc “Raven” Fausto
  • Karl Jayme
  • Carlo “Kuku” Palad
  • Kenny “Xepher” Deo
