February 3, 2021 - The X-410 is an Ethernet I/O control module with a solution for creating advanced logic (tasks) without the need for scripting. It provides solutions for a variety of IIoT applications. ControlByWeb’s control and monitoring products, such as the X-410, come with a variety of inputs and outputs. Each product has a built-in web server which allows you to setup and access the device using a standard web browser without the need for any cloud services.
There is no software required, no programming necessary, and no subscription to purchase.
Users can create three main types of logic (tasks) using the X-410’s web interface:
Conditional – If sensors, switch inputs, relays, or any combination of I/O reach given trigger values, then the X410 can trigger an email alert, turn on a relay, or perform a variety of tasks.
Scheduled – Schedule relays to activate at preset times (to control locks, lights, pumps, generators, etc.) or to log certain I/O. Repeat scheduled tasks during certain days of the week, month, and year.
Reboot task – Configure the X410 to ping something on the network and use its relay contacts to power cycle or reset a device when pings fail to respond.
The X-410 also supports BASIC scripting for more advanced logic.
Users can also control, monitor, and log up to 100 inputs and/or outputs. The X-410 supports peer-to-peer communication between ControlByWeb modules. It can communicate with all ControlByWeb devices but offers messaging between X-400 series products, such as the X-400, X-401, X-405, X-418, etc. This means that the X-410 can control and monitor I/O on other X-400 Series products as if it was directly connected to the module.
The X-410 offers the ability to log a variety of data points such as local and remote I/O, registers, tasks, and voltage. Log entries can be made at preset intervals, scheduled times, triggered by I/O changes or logic events. Users can schedule a daily log file to be sent via email or uploaded via FTP server.
