I had the opportunity to enjoy a facial treatment at Biologique Recherche Institut, and I have to say that my experience was a dream from the beginning to the end.
First, the location. Settled on the lower part of the Champs-Elysées, the atmosphere is highly luxurious not to mention the beauty of the building. A typical French classical architecture edifice at the end of a discreet place, magical!
Once past the main door, you enter the world of Biologique Recherche: a warm and relaxing interior design, high-end furniture and a crew of therapists ready to take care of you. After a quick tour and an introduction of product collections, I have been taken to the room to start my treatment.
A personalized experience
That was probably the most surprising part of my facial treatment, in a good way. The therapist actually started to analyse my skin with a professional sensor machine named “Skin Instant Lab” before applying any product, in order to fully personalize my treatment. Is my skin too dry? Too tanned in some areas? Should the product be low or high concentrated? Etc… At the end, I received a detailed form with all the characteristics of my face’s skin. Brilliant!
According to this analysis, the therapist decided to go with a strong cleansing – with Lotion P50 – followed by a deep moisturizing and a light tone balancing under my eyes. I never had such a dedicated treatment in the past, and believe me I did a lot. Very appreciable.
After 60 minutes of facial detoxification and relaxation, the therapist offered me to soothe a bit in the treatment room before going back to the reception. She kindly proposed me to purchase some products according to my skin examination – no hard sell there, don’t worry – and I went back home with a bunch of lotion and moisturizer. My new routine can start.
