Overwatch: Mickie steps away from being a competitive player

Pongphop “Mickie” Rattanasangchod, Dallas Fuel off tank since the Inaugural Season, becomes a full-time content creator for Team Envy.


Pongphop “Mickie” Rattanasangchod is an iconic player in the Overwatch League. He made his debuts with Dallas Fuel in the Inaugural Season, mainly playing D.Va alongside his tank teammate Christian “cocco” Jonsson. Mickie was also the first one to exploit Brigitte in competitive Overwatch, long before she became meta and the key part of the GOAT strategy.

More than his exploits on the stage, Mickie is famous for bringing a smile to his team in any situation. He is always cheering for his teammates, no matter if they are winning or losing. The Overwatch League recognized this by giving him with the first ever Dennis Hawelka award, rewarding the players with the biggest positive impact throughout the season.

Mickie progressively switched from Dallas Fuel’s starting six to the bench, being caught up by new players with advanced skills. After one season away from any action, Mickie is now a full-time content creator for Dallas Fuel parent company, Team Envy. He will join Justin “Jayne” Conroy, former Assistant Coach for Dallas Fuel, now content creator for the boys in blue.

History with Envy

Prior to joining the organization as a content creator, Mickie already had a long story with Team Envy. He made his debuts on the professional Overwatch scene with the boys in blue. Standing in for Team Envy after Ronnie “Talespin” DuPree left the team. With Envy, he won the first season of OGN Overwatch APEX and the MLG Vegas 2016. He was then drafted by Envy’s Overwatch League team, Dallas Fuel, and stayed almost three years with the team. He now moves to a non playing position, but will bring his smile and happiness to all Team Envy’s supporters.
