The J2A Awards is organized by European Rubber Journal, a sister publication of Tire Business.
“With J2A, our goal is to highlight the great work going on around the digitalization of tire manufacture, design and supply,” ERJ Editor Patrick Raleigh said earlier this year.
“As well as recognizing the companies leading this transformation, we also aim to raise understanding of the pivotal role of IT-based technologies across all activities in an increasingly, interconnected tire world.”
The award categories are: Tire Manufacturing — Producers; Tire Manufacturing — Suppliers; Tire Technology; Tire Supply-Chain; Tire Sustainability; Specialist Engineering SMEs; and an overall winner.
Twenty companies made the short list for the seven awards, with Michelin earning the most nominations (3). Click here to see all of the finalists.
The event will include remarks from European Rubber Journal Publisher Brennan Lafferty and Dr. Harald Weber, project manager for technology and innovation, VDMA, and J2A 2020 judge.
