Berlin-based organisation G2 Esports has extended its strategic partnership with GIGABYTE gaming brand AORUS for a fourth consecutive year.
The extension will see AORUS work alongside G2 Esports Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster through 2021.

This renewal marks the fourth consecutive year that the gaming brand will serve as a partner of the organisation. Since its inception in 2018 the parties have collaborated in numerous ways, including the organisation’s players providing input in the development phase of AORUS’ products.
Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez, CEO of G2 Esports, spoke on the renewal in a release: “From playing professionally and now as CEO of G2 Esports, hardware has played an integral part of my success. AORUS has provided us with affordable, stable and reliable PCs and After 3 years of working together successfully, renewal is the natural progression of our partnership.
“I’m excited to see where we take this in the future. So far, it’s been a fun, enjoyable ride where we felt like we played a positive role in AORUS’ success. Let the show go on.”

The organisation has a total of 13 partners on its roster. Its currently in deals with BMW, paysafecard, Twitch, Aim Lab, Domino’s Germany, Secretlab, Mastercard, Pringles, nicecactus, AOC, Logitech, and Philips.
Esports Insider says: It’s impressive to see G2 Esports maintain its long-standing partnership with AORUS, but given its previous success, it comes as no surprise. It’s also good to see the partnership continue during a global pandemic where times are tough for many in the industry.
