The Chengdu Hunters parts ways with Chen “ATing” Shao-Hua and Lo “Baconjack” Tzu-Heng.
After the Boston Uprising, the Los Angeles Gladiators and the Florida Mayhem, the Chengdu Hunters are revealing their plans for the Overwatch League 2021 Season. Their first decision is to release players Chen “ATing” Shao-Hua and Lo “Baconjack” Tzu-Heng.

The two Taiwanese players, who both played in the Overwatch World Cup for Team Taiwan, are now leaving the Chengdu Hunters. While ATing only played with the team for a few months, Baconjack was part of the Hunters’ core team. Shao-Hua was playing as the team’s main tank, filling in when needed for Ding “Ameng” Menghan. Tzu-Heng was a more flexible player, able to pick on hitscan heroes as well as flankers or even Zarya when the meta allowed it.

With the release of their two Taiwanese players, the Chengdu Hunters are back to a fully Chinese roster. The team already has four support specialists and three tanks, for only two DPS players. Heading into the Overwatch League 2020 season, the Chengdu Hunters will need at least one additional damage dealer to be able to rotate between players and adapt to any situation.
