Goa has always been home to picture-perfect destination weddings, especially when beaches and oceans are an inevitable part of your dream wedding. Cidade De Goa by Taj is a picturesque Portuguese property that has its own beach area, ideal for couples who get married to have fun, pure undiluted fun. One such couple, Jeevika and Aryan, got married in a beautiful ceremony, with close friends and family attending their wedding. Everything about their wedding was exciting, hassle-free and full of life.
Everything that the bride wore made her look effortlessly gorgeous. She had one motto in mind: “I should look like I am attending the wedding function, not be an overbearing bride.” For her Haldi function, she stitched up a mellow-yellow and airy dhoti kurta set, for herself, and for her groom.
For her Mehendi, she chose to go with her favourite fast-fashion brand, Zara. She designed her own Sangeet outfit and chose to call herself a “free-floating hippie” in the outfit.
Given that the bride admits to be as fun and hassle-free as one can be, she took no more than 3 minutes to decide her sage green bridal lehenga from Sabyasachi. As a surprise for her beloved groom, she wore a custom-made veil with a long, elegant trail, making her look like a princess on her dream beach-side wedding.
The groom wore a pastel pink sherwani by designer Sameer Patel.
She wore a classic red custom-made gown by Shivan and Narresh for her Cocktail Party.
On the last day, she wore a Pure Silk Saree gifted to her by her in-laws.
Brides generally take months to figure out what to wear, and sometimes, bridal outfit and jewellery can be so overbearing, that the weight of it all just doesn’t allow enjoyment. Jeevika is one such bride who disregards the burdens of being a bride and just has all the fun that it comes with. Like a hippie, truly. We wish the beautiful, exciting couple the best of fun, frolic, and happiness!
