Udinese eSports scores partnership with BenQ

Udinese eSports, which is part of the Udinese Calcio Team, has announced a new partnership with Taiwanese multinational technology company BenQ.

BenQ will provide new MOBIUZ monitors to all of Udinese eSports’ gamers, moreover, all official tournaments will be held at the Dacia Arena, the football club’s stadium.

During matches, Udinese eSports’ players will also be provided with a PlayStation 4 controller and soundproof headphones, alongside having a BenQ MOBIUZ monitor at their disposal.

Stefano Campoccia, Vice-President of Udinese Calcio commented: “In February 2020 we decided to enter the world of esports, starting from three fundamental aspects linked together: the creation of a community of gamers, the development of young talents, and the organisation of gaming events at the Dacia Arena.

“Despite the difficulties of this moment, in recent months we have moved forward and the results prove it. The partnership with a company like BenQ is a source of pride for our team are now we are preparing with enthusiasm for the first edition of the eSerieATIM.”

Esports Insider Says: FIFA esports is gaining traction in Italy with the upcoming eSerie A TIM, and Udinese eSports are set on achieving more goals in this season. BenQ is a constant presence in a lot of prestigious world esports tournaments – so to see them collaborate here is not a surprise.
