Qualcomm to Serve as Title Sponsor for $2M PUBG Mobile Global Championship

PUBG Corporation has revealed details for its upcoming PUBG Mobile $2M Global Championship, including a title sponsorship deal with Qualcomm Technologies. The smartphone brand will join fellow sponsors Mountain Dew and official device partner OnePlus. Earlier this year, Qualcomm signed on as a sponsor for the PUBG Mobile World League.

The tournament will be produced by ESL Gaming as part of the organizer’s ongoing partnership with the title.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship will begin on Nov. 24. Initially, the series will operate with a league structure, with 24 teams from across the globe competing for spots in the PMGC Finals to take place in early 2021.

Among the teams qualified for the PMGC so far are Team Secret representing Southeast Asia, Europe’s Natus Vincere, and China’s Nova Esports.
