FOKUS CLAN doubles-up with adidas and OUTFITTER deals

Germany FIFA esports organisation FOKUS CLAN has announced adidas as a supplier for its jerseys and teamwear.

This complements the existing partnership FOKUS CLAN already has with OUTFITTER for the upcoming season as the organisation looks to bolster the quality of its apparel.

OUTFITTER will continue to be responsible for the individualisation and refinement of FOKUS CLAN’s teamwear, but adidas will be supplying the team with products and jerseys in the future. The partnership between the German entities was initiated and brokered by sports marketing agency Infront.

Thomas Bohner, Head of Marketing at OUTFITTER, commented in a release: “The FOKUS CLAN is the perfect partner for us to implement our expertise as a team sports specialist and refiner in the field of esports. We are therefore very pleased to equip FOKUS CLAN with high-quality products by adidas and to distribute the collection exclusively.”

The decision to keep the streetwear merchandise with OUTFITTER comes after the first year of cooperation that was “successfully evaluted by all parties,” and a new collection consisting of several pieces will be dropped by the end of the year.

Hanspeter Tinner, Spokesman for FOKUS CLAN, said: “The product partnership between adidas and our organization is another piece of the puzzle in our efforts to become the best and most attractive FIFA team in the world. Our players will certainly wear the three stripes with great pride! We would like to thank our partners OUTFITTER and Infront for making this great partnership possible.”

Esports Insider Says: Having an internationally known jersey supplier such as adidas is fantastic news for FOKUS CLAN and it makes sense considering the links between football and FIFA esports. Extending with OUTFITTER and having it work with adidas is a cool arrangement, too.
