Wedding Proposals

University sweethearts, Anmol and Dhruv’s love story started via Facebook, and after a steady relationship for many years, they decided to take things to the next level. Keeping that in mind, Dhruv staged a memorable proposal that took place in a magical, natural setting.
How they met
Anmol recollects, “Dhruv and I first crossed paths on Facebook when he sent me a direct message. Curious about this strange guy who randomly got in touch with me, we started talking and quickly realized how compatible we were. Ours was a typical case of teenage love where we used to be in touch almost 24/7 and have arguments about silly things. But, over the years, we grew up and stayed true to our love despite the roller coaster of emotions we’ve experienced over the years. Even after dating for slightly over eight years, I still get butterflies in my stomach when I look at him!”
Proposal
Recalling the proposal, Anmol shares, “Dhruv proposed to me at a botanical garden in Oakville, Ontario, which we had visited a couple of years ago. At the time, I remember telling him that it would be a perfect place for an engagement photoshoot and little did I know, that he would remember what I had casually said. For the proposal, Dhruv and my best friend Nixola planned everything flawlessly.”
“Right from the location, dancing, floral arrangements, photographer, music, cake, champagne, and guest management – everything was done to perfection by Dhruv. And I must say, I hadn’t a clue about it all as I walked down the pathway towards him. I’m still blown away by his efficiency! It was hands down, one of the most memorable days of my life as we celebrated with our loved ones, relished delicious treats, and just enjoyed each other’s company.”
